Racoon’s Educator Stars in BBC’s Children in Need ‘Celebrity Scissorhands’
 
Racoon International is pleased to announce that their educator and RAT Pack artistic team member, Elaine, is appearing on the new BBC series Celebrity Scissorshands.

Elaine was selected from hundreds of applicants as her skills as an international educator for Racoon was recognised as essential for educating celebrities in cutting hair for the programme. The celebrities are being trained as hairdressers to help raise money for Children in Need.

The programme is airing on BBC 3 for one week from Sunday 5th November and will then move to BBC1 on Sunday 12th. The show will finish on Children’s in Need day when the celebrities will style the hair of all the presenters and guests appearing on the show.

Elaine will also be applying Racoon hair extensions to viewers during the two weeks with the assistance of the celebrities.

“This is such an exciting opportunity for me! I’m working with some amazingly talented hairdressers and a host of celebrities. My expertise in educating through the work I’ve been doing with Racoon was important for this show and it’s a great opportunity to show viewers how versatile extensions can be, whilst also raising awareness and money for a worthwhile charity,” explains Elaine.
